Device Safety + Contraindications

Safety guidance is specific to the exact device.

North Elara offers different technology categories, and their precautions are not interchangeable. Always read the product page, quick-start information and full manual supplied with your exact model before use.

Before first use

  • Confirm that the device and accessories are undamaged.
  • Use only the charging or power components specified for the product.
  • Review the intended treatment area, session time and frequency for your exact model.
  • Follow all preparation, eye-protection and skin-contact instructions supplied with the device.

Do not generalize between technologies

LED/light therapy, EMS, microcurrent-style stimulation, radiofrequency, IPL, ultrasonic and thermal technologies can have different contraindications and use requirements. Guidance for one product should not be assumed to apply to another.

When not to proceed

Do not use a device if the product-specific instructions indicate that a condition, medication, implanted device, pregnancy status, photosensitivity, skin condition or treatment history is incompatible with use. If you are unsure whether a device is appropriate for you, seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before use.

During use

Stop using the device if you experience unexpected pain, burning, significant irritation or another reaction that is not described as expected in the product instructions. Do not continue simply because a general routine recommends a longer session.

Cleaning + storage

Follow the exact cleaning method in the manual. Do not immerse a device unless the manufacturer specifically states that the product is designed for that use. Store devices and electrical components dry and away from conditions that could damage them.

Important: this page is general educational guidance. The safety information and contraindications supplied with your exact North Elara device take priority.
